What to make for Mother’s Day?
I was in the Dollar Tree and found these awesome glass beads. Each package has six different kinds, I must have over a thousand of them for just six dollars. This is a great craft to do in front of the TV which is always a major plus in my book!
Thread a needle with some strong thread.
Upholstery, button, or any heavy duty thread will do.
Slip a bead through the needle and down the thread.
Tie a knot at the end.
Fill the rest of the string with the glass beads.
Save a good amount of string at the end for easy tying.
Tie another knot at the end of the necklace.
Make a bunch for a pretty layered look!
Now wasn’t that better than buying one for $20?
For another DIY necklace check out this J.Crew inspired paper version.
Thanks for stopping by, and have the best weekend ever!
PS. Don’t forget to remind your husband that Mother’s Day is next week.
