What to make for Mother’s Day?

I was in the Dollar Tree and found these awesome glass beads.  Each package has six different kinds, I must have over a thousand of them for just six dollars. This is a great craft to do in front of the TV which is always a major plus in my book!

Thread a needle with some strong thread.

Upholstery, button, or any heavy duty thread will do.

Slip a bead through the needle and down the thread.

Tie a knot at the end.

Fill the rest of the string with the glass beads.

Save a good amount of string at the end for easy tying.

Tie another knot at the end of the necklace.

Make a bunch for a pretty layered look!

Now wasn’t that better than buying one for $20?

I like the idea of string bugle and rocaille beads in multiple strands for a necklace. It’s also a great project for my 10yr dd. Thanks for sharing on Merry Monday.
